From September 29 to October 2 will be held in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia the first World Congress of rice in honor of the paella. This event is organized at the initiative of the Patronage of Tourism of Valencia, Terra i Mar. More than 50 chefs of the city will meet making from this culinary experience a mandatory meeting point for the exchange of the art of cooking.
Great chefs will be there, nine of whom major international chefs offering a new and special look on the paella of Valencia, the universal Spanish dish.
Moreover, in addition to the 70 stands where you can taste typical products and wines of different culinary regions of Spain, you will be able to enjoy the Gran Fiesta de Arroz Morcilla and el Túnel del Arroz. These two events will take place in the presence of 24 famous restaurants.

In the context of this congress will take place the rice Gourmet week during which a total of 21 restaurants in the capital of Turia and 13 in the province of Valencia will serve specialties cooked rice at record prices.
