Epiphany: The Christmas time ends at the Epiphany, when Spanish children receive their gifts celebrating the coming of the Three wise men.
On the evening of January the 5th, there is a parade through the city which ends in front of City Hall with the Cavalcade of Kings. The next day, children are rewarded or punished according to whether they behaved well or bad during the year. If they were wise they receive the gifts they have ordered in their letter to the Three wise men otherwise they will receive coal.
Epiphany is also the day you eat the famous Roscon Reyes, one of the oldest Spanish cakes.
